Sukhbir Badal Should Spare Punjab & Save His Advice for His Family: Baltej Pannu

Sukhbir Badal’s selfish motives have turned Akali Dal into "Khali Dal"; now they are competing with NOTA: Baltej Pannu

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh-

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly reacted to Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) President Sukhbir Singh Badal’s statement regarding appointments in the Punjab government. AAP stated that following the forfeiture of his candidate’s deposit in the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election, Sukhbir Badal is in a state of panic. He can now clearly see the end of his political career approaching fast.

AAP leader Baltej Pannu criticized Sukhbir Badal, saying, "We do not need your advice. Spare Punjab and save your advice for your family." Pannu further remarked that the Badal family’s selfishness has reduced Akali Dal to "Khali Dal." He added, "All prominent leaders have left the party. It has now become their private limited company. It would be better if Sukhbir Badal refrains from commenting on Punjab’s issues."

Pannu highlighted that Sukhbir Badal’s panic stems from the fact that in elections, his party is now competing with NOTA. "He fears that NOTA might receive more votes than his candidates. Since 2017, Akali Dal has faced disastrous defeats in every election. No party in Punjab’s history has ever seen such a downfall," Pannu said.

He added that Sukhbir Badal’s situation has deteriorated to the extent that no one in Punjab believes anything he says. "Due to his deceit and betrayal, he has completely lost the trust of the people," Pannu asserted.

Speaking about the Ludhiana West by-election, Pannu said, "The people have endorsed the AAP government’s work of the past three years through this election. We will continue to work in the same manner. Wherever we find an expert in education, health, or other public services across the country, we will seek their help for the welfare of Punjab."
